Chris and Katie were married on April 19, 2008 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The wedding was in a beautiful creekbed of the Pigeon Forge River, under Emert's Cove Covered Bridge. Pastor Buddy was our whimsical officiant.
Now comes our second adventure: moving to Germany! Chris has orders to transfer to Ramstein Air Base in Germany, where we will call home for the next 3 years. We have been organizing and boxing up our belongings slowly since January, and I hope we finally find everything before the packers whisk our things away on Thursday.
Once Chris outprocesses from Whiteman Air Force Base, we will spend a relaxing 2 weeks with his family in Georgia, before our hop across the pond to Germany on June 16.
